Lap connectors are used to connect two scaffolding elements together and secure them against being lifted out. For this purpose, a latching pin is fitted through the holes provided on the scaffolding sections to be connected.

These are usually used to securely connect and fix certain frames or scaffolding tube connections or, for example, guardrail posts at the top of the scaffolding.
