For façade and painting work up to the gable end, you should buy gable scaffolding. As the name suggests, gable scaffolding is shaped like the gable of a house. As with façade scaffolding, assembly is extremely simple thanks to a plug-in system. The individual scaffolding bays are simply extended upwards in the middle according to the height and length of the gable, creating the characteristic gradation according to the shape of the gable.

What to consider with gable scaffoldingIf you would like to buy gable scaffolding, you can choose between different materials, working heights, widths and bay lengths. Depending on the size of the façade, different scaffolding components may be required. As a rule, gable scaffolding consists of base spindles, vertical frames, back guards, diagonal braces, scaffolding decks and access decks, double guardrails, guardrail posts, toe boards and end boards as well as standard couplers, eyebolts and scaffolding brackets for anchoring. Gable scaffolding is available as steel or aluminum scaffolding from various manufacturers such as Layher or Plettac.The correct dimensioning of the scaffolding is important. The decisive factor is not the height of the gable, but the so-called eaves height, i.e. the height of the lowest roof edge or the lower end of the roof.
